Well, anyway, they had this pig roast and the Sweetie Man loves those and just had to take a picture of the pig...after roasting of course....only cause the head was still there (it's a guy thing)....

Gotta tell ya, it was DELICIOUS!!!! They also had a guy playing the guitar and singing during the picnic and the weather was gorgeous....a PERFECT weekend to say the least.
I did alot of reading and cross stitching the Sweetie Man worked on his laptop. He got this new Photo Shop program and just had to play with it. Let's just say, if the pig picture didn't freak you out, just take a look at the pumpkins in the next picture....

Well, anyway, that's about it for today....oh, we have a brand new Michael's that just opened about 5 miles from my house...give or take a few! I'm so excited...can't wait to check it out this weekend! I need a frame for my wedding cross stitch so I can show yinz guys finally my two year project! So, you know where I'll be dragging the Sweetie Man on Saturday!!!
Okay, back to the old grind.....till next time, yinz crazy pumpkin heads!!!!!!
Glad that you had a good time camping! Now I want BBQ!

Mmm... Looks good! Love the pumpkins!
ReplyDeleteUh... people (well a couple of guys) at my husband and my old job used to call my husband 'Pumpkin Head' for some reason. (I never did get why, don't care I didn't like it.) But... that's so weird that you all are pumpkin heads, too. ;P
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday to your sweetie!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I have to tell you, I've been to pig roasts before and they've just never looked like this. I mean, Lucy, this looks like a....dog - yipes!
Hope the bump on your noggin wasn't too bad and that you're doing well :0)
Your writing about your camping trip brought back lots of memories! We camped when I was young and my hubby and I camped, also! Many a times I had sore places on my head from bumping into that upper bunk!! We haven't camped in quite a while - too painful with arthritis! I miss it so! I don't think I could have eaten any bbq with that pig watching me eat him!! Yuck! Continue having great times and making great memories!!!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a nice weekend! I'm jealous of your Michael's. We used to have one nearby but it closed. On the other hand, maybe that's a good thing since I spent so much money there. LOL!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun time. You sure shocked me at first with that pig head. AHHHHH! LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh no, I can´t watch that head of the pig over the grill!
ReplyDeleteOh yuk, Lucy!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm never eating ham again.
